Amare Chimes in on BYU, Sounds Like a Turd

I was a little late on keeping up with the news this past week because I was in jolly ole England so the Uncle picked up my slack, but like the classic Mase song I welcome myself back. I know we have been hammering the BYU story the past week and it is basically over now, but how absurd was it when Amare Stoudamire commented on Davies-Gate. He said this on his twitter,

"Don't ever go to BYU, they kick a Young Educated (Black)Brother OUT OF SCHOOL. The kid had premarital sex. Not suspended, Not Release. Wow!"


I mean what kind of jackass would try to make this into a race issue? Did you really need to add that parenthesis in there because I am pretty sure the rules apply to people of all skin color at BYU? Not every person gets drafted in the lottery of the NBA straight out of high school and gets to enjoy a lifestyle of extravagance, sex, money and poor grammar. When you come out and say something like that you just embarrass yourself as a professional. So for all of us Amare, just shut up and enjoy the rest of your career as a second fiddle.


Note: I know he apologized in a follow up Twitter, but we all know thats PR backpedaling. Come on Amare, I watch Entourage and Shonna does that shit for Vince all the time.
