Is this my favorite player in the tournament. To change Jack Nicholson's quote, "YOU BET YOUR ASS IT IS!" Look at this fireball with a fro. First off, you fucking kidding me with that appearance? Your on TV brotha, clean it up. But secondly, and more importantly, Mike Bruesewitz of Wisconsin embodies everything I care about in March Madness. College athletes, no matter what stature, color or sexual appeal, leaving everything they have on the court.
As some of you may know, Yours Truly has Wisconsin making a run to the Final Four in this years bracket so when I nestled in to watch Jordan Taylor collapse against the Kansas State Pullen's I was nervous that I would end up like the Uncle--out in the first weekend. My boy Bruz didn't let that happen. 6'6 and working with a knee like this guy, Bruz matched up with K-State big man Curtis Kelly throughout the majority of the game. Furthermore, Bruz was diving on the floor like he probably did for Charizard cards back in the day at the local Pokemon hub. Not to mention, his 11 points and two HUGE 3-balls, Bruz has moved his way into the running for my all-time favorite college athletes. Now if he can get me a W come Thursday then he is a lock...
